IRON!

One of these days, I’m going to figure out a method to the words being placed in my spirit. There’s so much to write about – I have a hard time knowing which topic God wants me to talk about next. Most of the time, there are themes. Particular scriptures He’ll focus everyday interactions around. It’s not usually a long process (HA! He’s weaving a separate Word He has me working on into this post) when He frames my experiences around the scripture He is requiring I learn. Maybe a week at most. But, I used to see certain daily, trivial life experiences as independent of each other and now, I understand just how granular our God is. He. Is. In. Every. Detail. <——-Glory!

Okay, so back to the point. Iron Sharpens Iron (Proverbs 27:17) We cannot ask God to give us strength, to grow us, to change us and then expect for the process of transformation to be smooth and easy. It MUST be filled with conditioning, exhausting, uncomfortable and just plain hard. Especially if we’ve been living according to our own purpose and plan. There’s a lot of mess and chaos we make when we decide to do things according to our will. But when we submit to God’s Will, the mess and chaos now becomes organized. It’s reformed so it can be used to fulfill what we were created to do.

I’m off the subject right now but I just have to glorify the mercy of God! As much of a mess we make trying to create our expectations of what our lives should be, God is always happily waiting and willing to step in and show us what our life is really supposed to look like!

Now some of you still reading may be thinking “Here we go again – another religious zealot trying to convince the World God is the answer to everything.” And, you’re half right. I’m no religious zealot (me and religion have always felt differently about who God is and what His Love means). BUT, I DO BELIEVE GOD IS THE ANSWER! I see Him in every single moment of my life! Even the moments I chose to be deaf, blind and mute to Him, I can look back and He IS there! I don’t subscribe to the perfect life that is too often frustratingly attached to developing a relationship with God. Because there is no such thing as the perfect life as long as we are in our flesh. However, we CAN have the perfect relationship with Him while living. We CAN develop our trust, faith, hope and love in Him so that as life does what it does, we are strengthened in our trust, faith, hope and love to overcome, persevere and live peacefully and joyously.

~There is nothing to lose from loving God~

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17. OkayShe is all the way about empowering women to seek relationships with God first and watch how He transforms every component of their life accordingly. And He will. It is His Will. We are the iron that sharpens iron. We are the strength that strengthens each other. We are the support that supports each other. We are the tests that test each other. We are the examples of God’s Glory that exemplifies His Glory! We are meant to love and encourage each other as God loves and encourages us. This I know in my spirit – we are made stronger together; unified and carrying our Creator in our hearts, minds, bodies and souls so that everywhere we go and everyone we encounter walks away saying to themselves “I need whatever glow She has so I can glow too!” It’s easy my Sister, as easy as opening a door…
