My Daddy’s favorite advice to me growing up was “Quita, don’t go anywhere you’re not welcome.” WHEW! Was he on point with that Word!!👏🏼👏🏼Despite his wisdom, I had to test the validity of going places I wasn’t welcome and of course, the outcome was I got my feelings hurt when I was rejected. All the time and energy I expended overstaying my welcome, I could’ve been using that time to strengthen my relationship with God. He EXPECTS us to reside with Him. He prepared our place and patiently, lovingly waits for us to realize our invitation was sent the day we were created. John 14:2-4 💙Beloved, we are not guaranteed acceptance anywhere on this Earth; rejection from others is as inevitable as the sun’s rising and setting each day. Rejoice and take comfort in the peace that comes from knowing God promises us a place with Him where He stands with arms outstretched…
